Kids with lazy eyes may soon be prescribed lazy hours playing 'Tetris'
Lucky kids with lazy eyes could soon get a doctor's Rx to play video games. A Canadian study conducted on adults - and soon to be tested on children - found playing "Tetris" using both eyes appears to be a more effective treatment for amblyopia (the medical term for a lazy eye) than the current accepted treatment of wearing a patch over the stronger eye to make the weaker one work harder.
