Attention, gadget mags: the Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Beagleboard (including the 'bone) are not mini-computers. Check the Wikipedia definition, which is accurate. They do concede that mini-computers are now known as midrange computers but that's a term that's been used even when mini-computers were new. Call the Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Beagleboard mini- PCs .
